I never realized I could do this and naively I’ve been going to a Windows PC every time I wanted to connect to a Windows server (either my own or a clients’).

Seems I could have been connecting from my development Apple computer the whole time – duh! Discovered this over the weekend by accident when I was searching for something else entirely.
